Gottcha!

I love how everyone captures little creatures with their flowers. I can't tell you how many bugs, bees and humming birds I've tried to catch. Finally, a bee! It's the little things that excite me these days.

  1. I love the goggles he's wearing. Looks like he could be a fighter pilot.

I need to check my milkweeds for more critters this year. Last year I found not only monarch butterflies but caterpillars, grasshoppers, bees, and a really cool tree frog. The only thing I don't want to see is those Japanese beetles!

  2. I'd be thrilled if the beetles would go for the milkweed! LOL They seem to like everything but. I've had Monarch butterflies this year but no cats yet :( I hope you find some.

  4. Good for you, CG! Your little bee on the bright pink daisy is a great capture! I see some Cerise Queen yarrow in the background. It looks good with the daisy.
I'm excited by the little things too :)
That's a huge old tree you have. It's fascinating to think of the history behind them, isn't it?
I've had fun catching up with you and Apple this morning. Can you believe it's been a year since your visit? Time sure flies!
I'd love to get together again. Hope we can sometime.
