What could there be in the garden that would cause them to take a time out from a kickball game? What could hold their interest and keep them still for several minutes?
We haven't gotten around to giving him a name yet. He seems quite unperturbed by my presence in the garden and he does his thing while I do mine. The kids still aren't quite brave enough to try and catch him but I suspect it is only a matter of time.

I thought we were friends? Even the picture made me shudder! Are you trying to get me to give up ever visiting your garden again?
ReplyDeleteI know you and WiseAcre are laughing your backsides off! Laugh it up, Chuckles...
;)
CJ
Not to worry CJ, the neighbor girl (on the far right) caught him when he ventured too close to the property line. Last I knew he was living in an old fish tank. I haven't seen any others so far. I'm much less afraid of garter snakes than I am of the #%!$# punkies! My arms and legs are covered with bites :(
ReplyDeleteI'll take snakes (well, garter snakes) over skeeters any day! He can come live with the toads and tree frogs in my garden if he'd like.
ReplyDeletePoor little snake..living in a fish tank. I'll bet he was much happier living with you in your garden. Can you go ask for him back? :)
ReplyDeleteA Snake in the Garden with an Apple. It sounds familiar.
ReplyDeleteMartha and Kerri,
ReplyDeleteI let told her that I need him back at work in the garden. She usually lets things go after a few days of studying them.
Wiseacre,
I literally laughed out loud when I read your comment!
So did I! Leave it to WiseAcre to crack us both up!
