There is still lots of color in the garden to enjoy as I try to get everything planted and moved around. Kerri was quite generous so I have lots of work to do!
I cut some annual salvia back in July and it is reblooming nicely. My expensive mums are in full bloom. My dollar store mum is just budding nicely for October. The sunflowers will soon be taller than the roof line. The zinnias and strawflower are starting to go to seed but still have lots of blooms. The morning glories finally did bloom. I love the vine and although the lack of flowers has been disappointing, I'm happier than I was with the teepee last year. I did finally get some monarch caterpillars. There are more things that I could list but I need to get back outside :)

It still looks like summer in your gardens, Apple - even if the fall flowers like chrysanthemums are joining the party. I love the color of the sunflower in your photo.
