You were expecting to see a butterfly, weren't you? Me too!
I had just seen a butterfly in this area and thought I'd see if I could identify it. I don't mind having snakes in the garden. But the rule is that as I am running one direction they are to slither away in the other. This little guy ignored me and stayed around quite awhile. He better not let Mike or Alex catch him and they'd better remember the no snakes in the house rule!
Congratulations on the snake! You must have a very healthy lawn for the little guy to feel so welcome and to stick around.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. And he has a nice place to live too.
ReplyDeleteEeewwww.....snakes are not allowed in my garden. I'm may live in the country now but I am still a city girl when it comes to snakes.
ReplyDeleteWe only get little ones but that's a real snake, Apple. Your kids must feel pretty comfortable around animals if you actually had to make a 'no snakes in the house' rule!
